Probably the most annoying thing about Mark, for me anyway, has been his inability to admit and accept that most of the problems, ie crashes etc with VaughnLive, are in fact, down to him.
But at least it looks like he’s starting to admit what the genuine problem is now.
So the servers are actually fine? I think we have known this all along. If you check the website of the company Mark uses for his servers, they are in fact just as he describes.
These servers are the dogs bollox, believe me. 72GB of ram, super fast CPU’s and 10Gbps upload speed is one powerful machine.
But, he doesn’t have one…
Now whether there really are over 25 (why not just say 26 or 27) of the same servers, only Mark and the company know’s. But if there are, then looking at the home page of the hosting company, then these figures look about right..
But from having run casting sites in the past, over 25 of those servers, running through a load balancer, should not be overcrowded.
But hey, it’s a start, at least he’s admitting the crashes are nothing to do with us mere peasants and our ‘dinosaur’ pc’s 😉
Although, he’s still telling a few little white lies;
Yeah, i’m sure you spend $19,000 a month just for us, and the thought of making money from the site never entered your mind…LOL
